On the Friday before Mother's Day, my mum and I went out to Old Orchard Beach. Our favorite pizza shop is Lisa's Pizza. We decided to be tourists in a favorite Maine destination. We could not resist the urge to explore under the famous Old Orchard Beach Boardwalk. The tide was high and the waves were stupendous! This was a Mother's Day that I will never forget! I love the contrast between the red sand, white waves, green ocean and the weathered pilings. Honestly, being under the boardwalk was so much more exciting than being on the boardwalk!
