This particular magnolia was on the tree right outside our screened porch. If you grew up in the South, I'm not sure you'd like these trees as much as we do. They drop their big, thick leaves all year long. The flowers last only a day or so. But, our magnolia shades our screened porch year round and provides nesting places for lots of birds. Like all white flowers, a tough one to paint.
