The Carriages of Acadia have the most beautiful horses, I am particularly fond of dapple grey horses and grey horses. These horses are so well cared and really do enjoy their work! Look at their forward ears and happy expressions. Horses are most happy when they are at work. These horses are gentle giants and will let you fawn all over them. But you most definitely do not want them to step on your feet. They won't step on them on purpose...but their hooves are so large, that it would really hurt if they did. Stop by Carriages of Acadia the next time you are up on Mount Desert Island. The horses and the grounds are beautiful!
