Description
These coral and salmon dahlias greeted me at my girlfriend Lyn's house. They were in a vase at her doorstep. I created this image with my mobile phone with a vision in mind and voila. This textured digital art happens to be my favorite colors and has become one of my signature images. It represents all that is wonderful about friendship to me; diverse, colorful, happy.
Over the course of time, I have come to love this image so much that I actually grew dahlias that year for the first time even though I vowed I never would because they need to be dug up in Michigan. Oh my goodness, the beauty in these continual blooming gems has captivated me. I not only dug them up, but I ordered several more and expanded my dahlia garden significantly.
And this is where it started. A long-term love affair for sure...
