In the summer, I can’t get enough of our gorgeous daylilies!
This one is called “Pink Apricot Serenade” and it is the undisputed queen of our garden. The flowers are large and magnificent, and I can shoot them at eye level, so it doesn’t put a strain on my back. I have to use a bench for some of our lower flowers, but not for these.
I photographed this beauty in the early morning light, and I love the way thebeautiful bokeh behind the flower gave her a luminious quality. I treated her to Topaz Impression, a couple of textures, and a vignette to get the look I wanted.
