Description
A little one room schoolhouse sits by the side of a country road just outside Charleston, South Carolina. Prompting memories of episodes of "Little House on the Prairie" and "The Waltons" television series, the weathered structure represents a simpler time when life was harder in many ways, but also easier in others. I loved the nostalgic feeling that was evoked by this nod to our past and found both the low country setting and the school building itself a charming reminder of days gone by on this lovely spring morning.
