Pebble Beach is next to the Salt River in the Tonto National Forest of the Sonoran Desert of Arizona. While it is sandy, it is also partly covered with huge river rocks that resemble giant pebbles. They are very difficult to walk on! Anyway, one year for my birthday, my husband took me out there and we stumbled upon this heart someone made with some of the pebbles. I had to take a picture. My birthday is on Valentine’s Day so this probably wasn’t that much of a coincidence, but it sure was nice. This slightly enhanced photograph with text added makes a unique Valentine that is sure to please any nature lover!
