Looking For A Good Lime

Description
As I was using an ultra-closeup lens set up to photograph blossoms and buds on our Mexican lime tree, I noticed this cute little yellow fellow exploring one of the petals. I measured the flower at 2.2 cm from petal tip to tip, and from another shot when he was streched out, he was 1/10 of that diameter, or a whopping 2.2 mm long when stretched to the max. I am calling him a millimeterworm, instead of an inchworm. The Mexican lime is essentially like a key lime, very tasty when mixed with the right ingredients.

Gary Holmes, photographer: I have always loved to photograph nature, landscapes, abstract, and other found objects of interest. Although I have staged single and group portraits and still life photographs, I prefer the challenge of trying to capture the unpredictable spontaneity of things and events as they are occurring. I started with a Kodak Brownie as a child, but entered the world of real photography with a Canon AE-1 in the late 1970's. I have successfully sold a number of my photographs on Fine Art America, and have won several awards, including an Editors' Choice on 500px, as well as a 5-star Editor's Choice designation in Camerapixo's Hot Shots photo magazine, Volume 4.
