Monkey mother and child painting.
This is a special painting to me. I was asked by a grandson to paint two paintings, one of a mother bear and her child, and another of a mother monkey and her child. He wanted to give the paintings to his mother.
As a child, his pet name was "little bear", and his younger brother was called, "little monkey".
Pet names mean so much to each of us, and it was so special that he wanted to share those memories with his mother. I'm happy I got to be a part of this meaningful gift.
