Autumn brings an abundance of color to many places with the transformation of vegetation from summer growth to the shedding of its leaves as the weather turns colder. In the unique climate that makes up the Sonoran Desert and mountains of southern Arizona the transformation is more like a second spring as new growth sprouts again. Fed by the continued warm temperatures mixed with the blessing of an abundance of rainfall, in Oro Valley we enjoy a lush vegetation that often stretches high into the mountains. In this monochrome you can see that lushness in the contrasts of tones. ~
