Light And Shadow Cone Bridge Road
Photograph - Photography
From U.S. 441 this dirt road, Cone Bridge Road, leads one down to the boat ramp on the Suwanee River. It was a bright sunny day and there was a pattern on flight and shadow on the road. Once upon a time there was a bridge that crossed the Suwanee River to carry timber across to the west side. The road is really dusty when it's been dry; it is well kept, graded regularly; there are two things to be cautious of: #1, when the river is flooded, so is the road a good way back from the river; #2, those are pretty deep ditches on both sides of the road and to get a wheel into one will create a problem getting out.
