Lfgm - Ny Mets
Digital Art - Digital Art
This hashtag art was inspired by a post made by New York Mets rookie first baseman, #20, Pete Alonso on twitter, July 31, 2019.
Pete tweeted a post to energize fans on twitter, along with the teams current winning streak and encouraging Met fans to keep watching and enjoy what's to come over the next two months. At the end of his statement, Pete hash-tagged LFGM and within minutes it quickly went viral in Twitterville.
Being a loyal Met fan my entire life, I became excited about the buzz behind Pete's post, as the Mets are chasing down a wildcard spot. I had watched a crazy but exciting game just the night before as they began a 3 game series against the Chicago White Sox, that almost got away from the Mets with a crazy outing from closing pitcher Edwin Diaz in the 9th inning. With the game being tied we went into extra innings using relief pitchers Lugo and then Gsellman, with a 2-run homer by McNeil, and followed up by a home-run from Conforto in the 11th inning, the Mets were able to take the win in a final score of 5 to 2.
For all those who love the New York Mets, Rookie Pete Alonso, Twitter and or Hashtags, you can sport this fun piece of hashtag art on a T-shirt, Cell Phone Case, Coffee Mug, Tote Bag, Shower Curtain, even in a Man Cave or Garage as a Poster or Art Print and there are even more additional options are available.
Let the #LFGM movement begin!!
