Seeing Peyto Lake for the first time was truly an awesome jaw-dropping experience. The bright turquoise waters are astoundingly beautiful. This is a glacier-fed lake in Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies. During the summer, significant amounts of glacial rock flour flow into the lake giving a bright turquoise color.
