Description
A fine example of the Kodak No. 3A Autographic folding camera circa 1917.
This camera had a ball bearing shutter and meniscus lens. Press a hidden button on the bottom plate and the bellows unfold, you then compose the photo thru a right-angle viewfinder above the lens, focus via a scale and trip the shutter with a lever or cable release.
The camera was designed to use a metal stylus to record information directly onto the margin of the negative via carbon transfer paper thru a flip-up window on the back. Photographed high res with Canon 5Ds at 50mp.
