Kippy was a rescued beagle loved by so many people. Sadly he left us but to the end, he had a wonderful spirit. Always happy and font of his goodies. He is a poster dog for dogs who were let go and found his family. I was fortunate to have met him. What a trooper. Kippy might have been a dog used for animal testing or perhaps came from a puppy mill, nobody knows for sure. He was found with a large hole in his eating. But that did not stop him from being grateful and happy with his new family.
The Beagle is a breed of small hound that is similar in appearance to the much larger foxhound. The beagle is a scent hound, developed primarily for hunting hare. Beagles are scent hounds, meaning they live to use their nose. They are simple to groom and their exercise needs are easily met with a length that gives them plenty of time to sniff.
Sadly beagle used for animal testing. Beagles are used in a wide range of research procedures: fundamental biological research applied to human medicine, applied for veterinary medicine, and many others... Dogs' status as "man's best friend" offers them no protection from being locked in lonely cages and forced to endure excruciating experiments.

That is wonderful of you to rescue your Buddy. I ones rescued a puppy and in order to coax him out of the fenced area he used as his shelter I called him Buddy. It was a hot summer and every day for 3 weeks I gave him water and food until he finally followed me home. He lived a good healthy live after that.

Thank you for your kind reply Elizabeth. I am glad you like my work. This little guy inspired me, he was the kindest dog. He had a difficult life before he was found sick and with a large whole in his ear. A very kind dog loving family took him in and gave him the vet care he needed and a home to stay.He had many good years in his new home with other dog brothers and sisters. He never stopped wiggling his little tail, always being happy.
