Description
We camped at Cathedral Gorge State Park over the Memorial Day Weekend. Kershaw-Ryan was about 30 miles down US 93 and we stopped there for a couple of hours on our way to the Extraterrestrial Highway. This pocket park is another Eastern Nevada jewel! We talked with a park employee in the formal garden before hiking the loop trail and were surprised to learn that the small, lovely campground has never been full, even on holiday weekends. When I do my book of ordinary treasures, this gem must be included.

Thank you, very much! I still haven't gone thru my photos from this particular Nevada trip. Every time I see that someone has viewed one of the Kershaw-Ryan photos I think of the Ruby Mountains and Angel Lake at 10+ feet and know I need to spend more time there. Maybe this summer.
