Description
Once in a while you luck out and get a break. When I rode my motorcycle out to Promontory Point, Utah, to see the two famous steam engines that closed the gape as a continental railroad, it was closed. The staff made an allowance for me to go to barn housing the Engines 60 and 119. A dream come true. They let me have the run of the place and I spent two hours climbing in and around both engines. It was a tight fit to work in but I decided that up close and personal was a unique opportunity to really explore and photograph details ot these to beautifully restored engines.
