Jacob's Ladder Steps Falmouth

Description
One night, between the rooftops of Falmouth, two ghostly figures can be seen climbing the illuminated steps of Jacob's Ladder.
The 111 Jacob's Ladder steps are something everyone should climb. For me it will probably be only the once, but at least I can say I did it. They are deceptively long as the steepness and landing stages mean you can't see the top from the bottom.
They were built in 1840 by Jacob Hamblen a builder, tallow chandler and property owner, for easier access between his business on The Moor at the bottom and some of his property at the top. One of the lesser known fascinating facts of Cornwall.
