Description
An inuksuk (inukshuk) is a manmade stone landmark or cairn built for use by the Inuit and other peoples of the Arctic region of North America. This inuksuk can be found on the shoreline in Ellison Bay, Door County, Wisconsin. Inscribed on stone in front of the inuksuk are these words: “Dedicated 2011 to the Steadfast Spirit of Ellison Bay -- S. Shumway”.
