Indiana Statehouse Interior Dome #2
Photograph - Photography
Indiana's Statehouse dates to 1888 and stands on the ground of the original capital building from 1835. The Renaissance Revival architecture stands in striking contrast to the modern Indianapolis skyline. Marble, fine gran wood, and stained glass adorn the statehouse interior. The highlight of the statehouse interior is the magnificent stained glass rotunda dome. Hues of blue, red, yellow and purple fill the rotunda. It is an architectural marvel.
