In The Misty Morning -prints Of Oil Painting
Painting - Oil On Canvas
I was inspired to paint "In the Misty Morning, by a man called "Sandals" who would wander by the Gallery to say "good morning" and sit awhile. He used his small boat to move about the mud flats and bird sanctuary near Morro Bay in a small town called "Baywood Park, California. This little town is where Baywood Gallery was born, a little Gallery, but I had dreamed of one for a long time. The early morning sun would cast shadows while the water reflected all above and I remember "Sandals", a man with little, except his big heart, who died before I could finish his painting.
You are not on BaywoodGallery.com YET, (read more below my short bio)
I am a self-taught Artist who paints in a form of Realism. Oil painting is to me much like writing is to an author, 'once the painting is complete many more than one can enjoy.' Teaching yourself everything can be a long road, but what a journey, to learn with God blessing every step of the way. The measure of success is the love and the passion you have for what you do, and without it you can lose your way.
Mixing color values or hues of a main color, create the shadows for the sides of a building to oppose the front and tells us if the sun is to rise or set. Perspective is enhanced by the color values as well and allows us to see the realistic view of an open window or door, winding paths, steps, water and so much more. Composition or the ability to perceive it is invaluable and I was grateful that it came naturally to me.
BaywoodGallery.com is my Pixels domain and website. (copy/type exactly as you see it here). There, my art mirrors what you see on fineartamerica's main site because Pixels is a division of fineartamerica. So that you can view all my Art with its own menu, not the menu on the general fineartamerica site, we are given our Pixels Website. Some have their own domain like mine, or the artist's name.
The menu on and under fineartamerica will take you AWAY from my Art and you must search again. But the same menu on my Pixels site keeps you looking at ALL my art, alone, for Wall Art, Home Decor, etc., all depicting my Art, in one place. While there you will see links in the four sliding headers, quick links to the collection the image depicts and one that is described below.
One of the Links on BaywoodGallery.com takes you where you can view more images and/or purchase ORIGINAL OIL PAINTINGS ~ You can use the link or bookmark the domain. It is the domain with 'Art' in the middle, BaywoodArtGallery.com While you are there, you can see enlargements of portions of every print I sell; examples of items depicting my Art and more.
When I am listing or editing to either BaywoodGallery.com or to BaywoodArtGallery.com I find it useful and fun to 'toggle' back and forth with both browsers open ~~ if you like my Art, please follow me, and you will be notified when I list new work or bookmark the domains. I refer to the, Originals’ website, as an acronym of 'BAG.'
My art is suitable for anyone of any age. All my work in whole or in part is Copyright Protected under U.S. and International Law. Certificates of Authenticity are issued, just contact me for it to be mailed postage paid and signed by me.
My last name is Mary Grden. My last name would be 'garden', but my garden has no 'apple' or a. (that's how people remember my name, by what it, isn't).
Shipping by the Artist of her Original Oil Paintings is always free and insured within the U.S.~International? Please contact me regarding a 'shipping credit.
