Impressions Of Lucerne Switzerland Black And White
Photograph - Photography And Digital Art
The beautifully preserved medieval heart of Lucerne, Switzerland on a late autumn day. On the right of the image, the instantly recognizable Jesuit church, a 17th Century baroque masterpiece sits on the bank of the Reuss River. In the centre, the iconic Water Tower of the Kapellbrucke, probably the most well known and photographed bridge in Switzerland and oldest surviving Truss bridge in the world is visible, the towering peaks of The Alps behind. I blended textures with my original photograph in black and white to give this image a more painterly style which I felt suited this old world scene.
