Hot Pink Ranunculus Flower by Regina Geoghan. A close up view of a partially opened bright magenta pink ranuculus flower. This is lovely framed as is in the horizontal format or can be cropped to a square format which highlights the circular pattern of the petals even more. Ranuculus flowers are easy to love with their beautiful variety of richly colored hues and the round rose-like heads with multiple layers of petals. They can look so colorful, delicate and perfect that sometimes they look artificial. They are also availalbe in delicate whites, pastel pinks and ivories. The flowers grow from tuberous roots that produce a number of flowers depending on the size of the bulb (tuber) one purchase to plant. They work well in containers in climates where the winters are too cold and be planted to bloom in early spring or in the fall. They are considered cool season bloomers and work well with pansies, primrose, African Daisy and others.
