This mixed media acrylic & oil landscape painted roughly with a pallet knife, depicts a mountain & river in the background, with a vase containing a single sunflower in the foreground was painted both as an homage to Van Gogh, whom I feel was a great lover of beauty & creation, as signified by the heart depicted on the vase. Yet, it is also a statement of love, respect & for the promotion of the preservation of our earthly landscape, our environment & wildlife, represented with a gold bird in flight, a butterfly & fish swimming in the river.
