The struggle of slavery that came after only intensified it! From that well spring brought forth gospel, country, blues, jazz, soul, r & b, funk, and rock and roll. This my ode to the heroes, both heralded and unsung, who despite controversy and derision brought it to the masses and added their vision to make it happen!.
