Description
While I was watching this heron stare intently at the water for its next meal, it started fluffing up and ruffling its feathers. I read that herons will fluff up their feathers on a cold day to help trap in their body heat. It was a bit chilly, so maybe that is it. Regardless, it provided a beautiful sight!
