Rudbeckia hirta, is a daisy like flower. The flower is big, bold and colorful. They are summer and fall flowering plants with strong stems and showy long lasting flowers. They are perfect for cutting. The flowers bear a brownish central cone surrounded by petals of golden-orange and deep yellow. Very drought tolerant. Use in borders and wildflower gardens. This flower was found in the gardens of Cylburn Arboretum, Baltimore, Maryland.
