Description
This is a quaint and inviting garden photograph of a beautiful Chinese Elm tree amid evergreen shrubs out of the home known as The Pines. It was build by Herbert and Grace Dow in Midland, Michigan, United States in 1899. It was the only home they ever built or lived in. They raised their family in this lovely home surrounded by beautiful gardens and trees he planted and cared for that is now 110 acres known as Dow Gardens. It is a National Historic Landmark now.
