Henllan Woods Sunrise
Henllan Woods Sunrise by Elliott Coleman - Henllan Woods is a small woodland just below the small village of Henllan and runs alongside the River Teifi.
After taking a few images of the falls, I decided to take a walk to the bench alongside the river when this scene greeted me along the footpath.
Henllan was the site of a second world war prisoner of war camp which housed Italian prisoners from 1943-1946 and German prisoners from 1946-1647.
As you walk along the banks of the river many of the trees are inscribed with messages of love by soldiers and perhaps prisoners who were made to work the land.
