Description
Hampton & Branchville Railroad #44 was built by the Baldwin Locomotive Works in Philadelphia, PA, in January 1927 for the H&B Railroad, at that time, a logging railroad based in Hampton, SC. The steam engine is on display at the South Carolina Railroad Museum in Winnsboro, SC. She someho outlasted her former railroad which shut down several years ago.
