Located in the fun little art village of Gulfport Florida. The landmark Gulfport Casino is at the intersection of Beach Blvd. and Shore Blvd.
The landmark Gulfport Casino is at the intersection of Beach Blvd. and Shore Blvd.
Originally built in 1906 it was used as a ferry station for people wanting to go over to the barrier islands. The hurricane in 1921 wiped it out, it was rebuilt and opened in 1924.
In 1934 it was again updated and while it's been renovated through out the years it has always maintained its special art deco architecture.
Today its known as the Gulfport Casino Ballroom and is an event venue.
