Digital Art - Photography With Digital Painting
This photograph was taken at the Gualala, CA seashore circa, 2008. It was amazing that day watching two types of birds interact. The pelicans were often slow to respond and yet very curious about what the gulls were doing. The picture was taken from our balcony. On the banisster was a wounded gull who walked with a limp. He would hang out and we began to feed him. Wikipedia describes the tintype: "A tintype, also known as a melainotype or ferrotype, is a photograph made by creating a direct positive on a thin sheet of metal coated with a dark lacquer or enamel and used as the support for the photographic emulsion."
