Description
While revisiting and rummaging about the coastal shore at Seawall in Acadia National Park in Maine USA, my sweetheart and I chanced upon a few shells and their inhabitants. Home alone was a crab whose claw was sticking out of an old abandoned and fossilized seashell, surrounded by several other smaller seashells and an anemone that seemed on its way out. The tide pools are always so fascinating and always feed the nostalgia of those early camping days with my loving family and friends. If one gets out to Mount Desert Island, I highly recommend visiting the rugged shoreline and sifting through the seaweed, smelling the sweet salt air. It always makes for great memories; nothing ever remains the same. To me it always reinstates why Maine is called Vacationland. Included here are a couple photos, one of Maine’s foliage reflecting in water, a gorgeous blue sky, and a blue jay flying around out to greet new visitors. Greetings from Maine by Maine artist Mike Breau resonates with that atmosphere of a strong Maine welcoming. Copyright 2019, Michael D. Breau. All rights Reserved
