Description
My fascination with dunes continues. We spent three days at Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve in southern Colorado. The beauty of the dunes and the mountains in the background is magnificent. My strong preference is to create an abstract, or as Ansel Adams preferred to say, an "extract", when faced with geomorphic features such as sand dunes. My inspiration for much of this comes from the work of Brett Weston.
