Description
This Great Gray Owl perched atop the smallest of perches, but at eye level making portraits very easy. It seemed to pose for the several photographers gathered in an arc in front of it, After several minutes it took off looking, I am sure, for some little critter to capture and eat. We saw it later not far from this location scanning a meadow for voles. Unfortunately, there were several photographers who were chasing the bird from one perch to another. We left the area rather than be identified as disrespecting photographers.
