Purple and Violet Weather
My favorite moment at the Grand Canyon when this brief summer storm rolled in. A woman was so terrified by possible lightening strikes she tried to drag her husband under a monument at one of the lookouts. There was really no where to hide so Louise and I just walked the canyon rim and enjoyed the show. The attitude of a storm/tornado chaser I guess. The rain came down like a baptism from the heavens-no better place to be.
