Graffiti makes wonderful abstracts. While wondering about downtown Sarasota near the waterfront, I spotted this scribbled decal on a light post. I loved the scribbled graffiti and the little bit of pastel blue and yellow combined with the black graffiti. I was really tempted to name this based on what I saw, but resisted. You need to call it by a name based on your vision. Frankly, this abstract doodle art makes me feel happy. I hope you feel the same and smile a little when you see this. This would be a great piece in a contemporary or modern setting. A large framed print over a console table or sofa would make quite an impact.
I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
