Looking up at the gorgeous fractal balloon, The Gloria Caeli, as she flies overhead. This digitally crafted image was created by layering the photo I captured over a heavily textured oil painting background.. the swirls and movement of the background compliment the circular patterns on her envelope.
Her name means "Glory of the Sky" and she was created by the artists at SkyDyes. They have created several these amazing fractal patterned balloons and they are all amazingly beautiful - but there is something about her... She was one of my favorite balloons from the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta (held annually in Albuquerque, New Mexico).
