Description
The gerberas have lanceolate and lobed leaves, arranged in a rosette. As we age, the leaves become pubescent on the lower page and lower to make room for the new small leaves which, in the first days, appear white and hairy.
The flowers, peeking out, are very durable and decorative and appear in early summer. They are carried by long stems covered by a light white hair. For their shape and structure, gerbera flowers are similar to a daisy, but more elegant both for the long pointed petals, and for the bright colors ranging from white to yellow to dark red.
