There is geothermal activity galore all over Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It constantly reminds one that you are standing on top of a powerful volcano when visiting here.
This image is part of my photographic art series. I use several digital tools usually working off of one of my photographs. It gives me great satisfaction to produce one of these artworks.

Beautiful shot, John! When I was visiting last time Yellowstone's NP (more/less thirty five years ago) and was taking ugly pictures with one of my old cameras - landscape was similarly gorgeous. Just my shots (looking today on them) are grainy, with distorted colors and somehow not to be good enough to represent FAA on the net. But your "Geo Yellowstone" make me reconsider that. I will try to bring back to life my old tiny shots and post them on FAA/PIXEL pages. Going back to your's "Geo Yellowstone" piece: deserved L/F included! Wishing you happy and prosperous 2021 !!
