The Canada goose is a large wild goose species with a black head and neck, white cheeks, white under its chin, and a brown body. It is native to the arctic and temperate regions of North America and it's migration can reaches northern Europe. The Canada goose is mostly herbivorous and normally migratory. It can mostly be found on or close to fresh water.
Canada geese have adapted to living in urban areas and will breed in neighborhood parks where food is plentiful and few natural predators. While it is popular amongst park visitors it is not a good practice to feed them. Not good for them or usually the park. They can become very aggressive towards both humans and other animals.
