"Frigate USS Constitution" By Diann Fisher The USS Constitution Charlestown MA Charlestown Navy Yard at sunset. October 21, 1797 the USS Constitution was launched as part of the Naval Armament Act and construction of the six frigates. In 1940 it was named the symbolic flagship of the US fleet.
Feeling particularly patriotic during this election year, I post reminders of our great nation, our history, and patriotism. .
