This photo is the complete sunrise set including the panoramic that was taken in Ballground Georgia on December 31, 2012. Ballground is a small city in North Georgia approximately 1 hour north of Atlanta Georgia on Hwy 515. I was driving to work on the interstate and noticed a wonderful glow that I could not resist. I pulled over at Howell Bridge road off interstate 515 and drove to the top of the hill. Luckily I had my tripod, that I always carry, and was able to capture several photos of this beautiful morning. This shows the panoramic across the top with the time progression of the sunrise in 4 stages that was taken that morning. As the sun rose, the deep colors were very rich and saturated with a wide range of magnificent colors. The blue sky was starting to show very high, but the orange glow was still at the horizon. The very low light was reflecting off the clouds rendering a beautiful range of red and purple colors with multiple tones. The clouds were still a very dark blue, purple and almost black color with a reflection of red and purple that covered the sky. The color tones mixed beautifully to bring out on of the most beautiful and colorful sunrises i have ever seen, as well as a multitude of colors as the light refracted off the horizon and clouds. This is a beautiful country sunrise that the people of the small town get to see quite often. Each photo is available individually as well. This complete series would make a wonderful set of sunrises that, if you are not from this area, are not very common. This is one of my best selling sunrises in a long time. I am glad i got to capture this Year End Sunrise of 2012.
