Description

The pastel facades and wrought iron balconies of the old Bairro Alto district of Lisbon are a perfect backdrop for any photographer. Ancient streetlamps cast long shadows over cobblestone streets as the sun dips behind buildings that have occupied the same spot for a very long time. The historic old center is seen here decorated with brightly colored garlands and flags for Fiesta season. I hand blended a little texture with my original photograph to compliment the old world feel of this classic Lisboa street scene.
