Though I photographed a head shot of FDR, this sculpture is actually full length. This is Franklin Delano Roosevelt (FDR). he was the 32nd President of the United States. FDR served an unprecedented three terms from 1933 to 1945.
Did you know that FDR Memorial is the largest presidential memorial on the DC Mall? Yes indeed. Seven and half acres. So much to see, learn, and enjoy, especially in the late Spring through fall.
This FDR sculpture is located at the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial in Washington, D.C at the tidal basin. It's a hidden gem that many people miss.
