I noticed this Lantana flower in my garden and it made me think of a girl with a bow in her hair. I thought, 'my love, you are beautiful enough without the decoration.' But just in case there is a grand party going on, it's good to be prepared!

This is a macro shot of two tiny Lantana flower buds just above one in bloom. I am so intrigued by the design and pattern of these little tiny pieces of nature . . . it isn't even the beautiful flower . . . it is the potential flower . . . and yet, the Creator has spent great care in its being . . . in its beauty. Soon those tiny fuzzy 'packages' will open into little florets or umbrels. So the lovely bow in the hair will have it's own day as Cinderella at the ball! Butterflies love Lantana, especially swallowtails and skippers.
