Fall Autumn Leaves Of Hackberry Trees

Description
The Hackberry trees in Autumn change their leaf colors to the expected copper orange tones and look really pretty in their wild stands of trees. This one is in a meadow near me and does not disappoint with its Fall season color. I processed the image in a slight impressionistic and painterly style to bring out the seasonal tones.
Hackberry trees (Celtis occidentalis) are considered ‘scrub’ trees in Texas. The Hackberry is considered a tough tree as they are very hardy and can withstand drought seasons. They can grow up to 60 feet high. They can take strong winds, heat and pollution. The make berries and are a food source for birds and even some butterflies like these trees.
