End Of Apple Season 300
Sharon Williams Eng
Painting - Digital Photo Painting
This image was taken in Hendersonville, North Carolina, the largest apple growing region in the state. The lovely town of Hendersonville is located on I-26 south of Asheville. The town celebrates the apple growers and harvest with an ever-growing festival in downtown over Labor Day weekend.
These crates were done carrying the apples for the season and were stacked to wait for another year. I was struck by the weathering and stenciling on the wood crates. This is one of several abstracted images from that session.
I am an award-winning exhibiting artist in southwest Florida and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains. I've even had a couple abstracts made into my personal cell phone covers. Please check out my Facebook page Doodleng Art by Sharon Eng for announcements and more information about my art. This image would be a good selection for business or corporate wall art and decor or in any home.
