Description
This is originally an 11x14 inch fluid piece completed by mixing acrylic paints with silicone and floetrol, and water. I started by layering one color on top of another all into one cup. In order to keep the colors separated, I poured each color on top of another into the cup by using the technique of slightly tilting the cup to the side as I poured. That way, when it was time to pour the entire cup onto the canvas (dirty pour) the colors wouldn't create a muddy look. Before I poured my colors onto the canvas however, I first flooded the canvas with a mixture of white acrylic paint, floetrol, and water.
