Artist
Gregory Ballos
Medium
Photograph - Photography - Fine Art
Description
In this electrifying photograph, the CityPlex Towers in Tulsa, Oklahoma, loom tall and imposing in the distance, over the lush green foliage below. As a thunderstorm rages on, lightning bolts strike down from the heavens above, illuminating the scene with bursts of bright white light. Captured with a long exposure style, this photographic artwork captures the raw power and energy of the storm, as it dominates the horizon and leaves an indelible mark on the viewer's mind.

Thanks for the sale Stacie! I truly hope the Tulsa pic brings a little piece of your old home to your new home. Tulsa is a great place, lived there for 8 years and I recently moved as well. I do miss it too. Best wishes on the new adventure in life!

I just moved away from Tulsa (68th & Yale), 3 weeks ago. I'm in my original hometown of Chicago now but I spent 21 years in Oklahoma so I am so homesick, I could die. I saw your other photo of the City Plex Towers in the "Reflections" contest and I had to vote for it. This photo is fantastic too. I'm going to miss the storms of Oklahoma for sure. Thanks for giving me a little piece of home. Your work is beautiful.
